Promote awareness of environmental risk factors, improve awareness of and access to evidence based lung cancer prevention and tobacco cessation services, particularly among high-risk, underserved and rural and low income populations, and increase access to evidence based tobacco treatment training/certifications for high-risk patients in rural underserved communities.
Identify policy pathways and address solutions and strategies with stakeholder groups in advocating to improve and ensure access to lung cancer screening and treatment and to improve policies that promote public awareness of environmental risk factors and stronger lung cancer prevention resources. Advocate to improve and ensure access to high quality and affordable lung cancer screening and treatment.
Early Detection &
Identify and develop best practices for scalable screening models that overcome barriers to the delivery of lung cancer screening, work to ensure the integration of shared decidion making and evidence-based tobacco cessation interventions and build awareness about lung cancer screening and its benefits for the general public and providers.
& Stakeholder Engagement
Promote awareness and engage health care professionals in the adoption of evidence-based initiatives that can increase lung cancer screening and tobacco treatment and advocate to improve and ensure access to high quality and affordable lung cancer screening and treatment.
